Last weekend I’ve been on a desert drive with my friends Tommaso, Roberto, Dario and Niko.
We went to Sweihan, Abu Dhabi, also know as “Little Liwa” for the shape of its dunes. It’s an intermediate difficulty desert, soft red sand and some very sharp dunes. Be careful of the many bowls that can hide behind a round-looking dune! I suggest to go with minimum 2 cars, but 3 is the magic number. We almost had 2 cars stuck at the same time and with the heat of this season it can be a problem to remain isolated..
On the way back we stopped under a bridge to inflate the tires and we also made friends with a beautiful falcon! 🙂
