Yesterday was my second drive with Dubai Offroaders so yes, I’m still in the “Newbie” convoy! XD
Our destination this time was the Margham Desert, a few kilometres south of Al Madam.
A lot of cars were at the meeting point, many first timers. After a short briefing by Marshal Abdallah, us newbies have been divided in two groups. I was again with Marshal Baher. I strapped my gopros around the car and the drive started. The path was not difficult but also not too easy and we had to stop many times because a lot of cars got stuck, or maybe the same few cars got stuck many times… Anyway it was a good day to socialise and make new friends! The desert here is a bit technical, a lot of sharp dunes and soft sand. As always, don’t go there alone, it maight be dangerous… Call me and we will go together! XD
The getting-stuck-festival ended in the Ghost Town with a nice barbecue!
